Located in San Marcos, California, Magikworm Ranch is a non-profit corporation benefitting children and students with Attention Defecit Disorder (ADD) and offering treatment at a fraction of the standard cost. Our approach involves the use of medicinal herbs and "neurofeedback" which is a completely safe, 80% effective alternative to Ritalin. (presently the drug of choice to combat the disorder) Ritalin having shown many unpleasant and dangerous side-effects over the course of it's use.
Offering organic solutions to this field and others is our common theme and so vermiculture and the cultivation of our nation's soil seems an appropriate and fitting niche for our fund raising efforts.
Presently we are offering Redworms (einseda foetida), and their by-products; namely Earthworm Castings and "Worm Tea". We have also recently introduced two other soil rejuvenators for the home gardener; Mushroom Compost, and our own 100% organic potting soil: Biodynamik Organik Magik!
